About ISNT
ISNT is a non-profit, professional body of technologists, engineers, scientists, academicians and researchers in India, who are engaged in the field of non-destructive testing. Since its inception in the year 1972, it has matured and established itself at the international level having stature and recognition. Presently, ISNT has more than 5000 members spreading over 18 chapters in India with headquarters at Chennai.
The objective of ISNT is to promote the awareness of NDT science and technology through education, research and exchange of technical information within the country and internationally to its members and other professionals. Some of the major objectives of ISNT are:

About NDE 2018
NDE 2018 is the annual event organized by Indian Society for Non-Destructive Testing. The event comprises of conference and exhibition, which will run in parallel from Dec. 19-21, 2018. The conference will be held at CIDCO Convention Centre, while the exhibition will be running at the CIDCO Exhibition Hall. Both the venues are adjacent to each other and connected internally. Prior to the event, Pre-conference tutorials will be organized from Dec. 17-18, 2018 on various topics that are relevant to industries.
During the conference there will be 40 + keynote lectures delivered by eminent personalities in the field of NDE. The conference is also an opportunity for NDT professionals to present their work in various technical sessions. There are special awards for the ‘best’ presentations in various categories (oral presentation, short presentation and poster presentation).
The exhibition promises to bring all the conventional and advanced NDT technologies under one roof for the benefit of delegates. Delegates can witness live demonstration of NDT equipments and discuss the challenges they are facing in their industry related to inspection. Over 75 + exhibitors across the globe will be participating in this event. There will be special awards for the ‘best’ exhibitor in various categories (NDT technology, NDT services etc.)
Over 1000 delegates from all over the world will be attending this event. The event provides an ideal platform to delegates to share and discuss their work with experts and colleagues working in NDT and related fields.

About Venue
CIDCO Exhibition & Convention Centre is state-of-the-art, purpose-built exhibition & convention venue, spread over 7.5 hectare of land, located at Vashi, New Mumbai. The centre is situated just outside Vashi Railway station, amidst various business establishments and commercial centres.
The centre is at a 45-minutes drive (26 km) from Mumbai International airport and 25-minutes drive (20 km) from Bandra Kurla Complex. The venue is easily accessible by road and railway from Mumbai, Thane and Panvel. There are numerous hotels, entertainment activities, retail shopping & sightseeing spots around the centre.
The upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) is proposed to become operational by end of 2019 which is at 12 km from the centre.
Built on a sprawling 2,00,000 sq.ft. area, the centre has two large halls for exhibition and 1,50,000 sq.ft. Convention Centre. Both the exhibition and business centre are connected by a bridge. Innovatively designed at par with international standards, the centre sports an aesthetic and attractive view.
A truly cosmopolitan city with a breath of fresh air, sector-wise planned extensions, broad, well paved, tree-lined roads with dozens of flyovers and interchanges, modern infrastructure, huge open spaces and recreation areas. With four modes of transport wide roads, excellent rail network and the upcoming air and water transport infrastructure, distance here can be calculated in minutes, not in hours unlike other Indian metros.
The city is characterised by wide roads, world class railway stations, an IT hub, numerous malls, a massive exhibition centre, top notch hospitals, educational institutions, unrestricted power and water supply.
